I purchased this camera case on May 4th. Our 25th wedding anniversary was that weekend and I wanted my camera protected as it was tossed in my tote that weekend. First it did not fit the camera well at all. My camera was supposed to fit it, but it was incredibly tight. The zipper pulls are very, very cheap. The first one broke off the first time I closed the camera case. The second one broke off the following weekend. The zipper also mis-zipped several times. I would say that it was just because my camera fit in it so snugly, but it even happened when the case was empty. It's too bad because the case itself is very nice. I would not recommend this case, even for a smaller camera.

I bought this case figuring the "hard" side to it would give my camera more protection...which it does. However, the handle on the 1st zipper broke in the 1st week...and the 2nd one a week or so later. Now I'm using a make-shift clip to zip & unzip the case. Not worth the money. Look for something better.

As a previous reviewer stated, the case is extremely tight for a Canon SX200IS. Unlike the previous reviewer, I was not able to close the case. Both sliders broke off when I tried to close the case the first time.

This case is excellently made and durable, but if you're ordering it for your Canon PowerShot SX200IS you should reconsider. I ordered it at the same time as ordering the SX200IS and was sad to find that due to the large lens on the camera the fit is EXTREMELY tight. I managed to zip it shut, but due to the hardness of the case I'm actually afraid that the restraint will break my camera. So if you're ordering one of the Canons that has a fully retractable lens I recommend this case. But not for the Canon PowerShot SX200IS.

It appears to be a well-made camera case designed for a thin compact or ultra-compact camera. I bought it for my daughter who got a Canon D10 for Christmas. It did not come close to fitting the D10 and I should have paid more attention to the dimensions.
However, [...] was very responsive and promptly gave me an Amazon credit for the price of the bag plus shipping. It's comforting to know you can buy from Amazon's retailers with confidence that they will treat you right.
