Product Description Jokari Slider Maker
The Slider maker from Jokari is a handy kitchen helper. It makes and stores eighteen (18) mini patties while keeping your hands super clean.
Use the two included storage trays with lids to freeze, refrigerate, or microwave you hamburger patties.
Using these containers to make your own sliders at home is so easy. Simply place 1 pound of ground meat into one of the 2 included trays and use the patty cutter to cut the meat into 9 evenly sized square mini-burgers. Snap the lid on and freeze your patties until needed or season and cook immediately. Your meat will freeze and defrost evenly and you'll never again have to form hamburger patties again.
Great at parties or for smaller appetites.
Create your own sliders! Great for kid sized portions!. Patty cutter creates nine mini servings. Meat freezes and defrosts evenly. Air-tight lid prevents freezer-burn. Eliminate freezer bags, stackable design.
Microwave and top rack dishwasher safe.
Includes:
2 x Freezer trays
2 x Air-tight snap on lids
1 x Mini patty cutter

Great for families and make-ahead dinners January 2, 2010 Lynn Benson (Seattle) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
So yea... I kept seeing those infomercials for the slider maker on tv and decided I wanted one. This was a reasonably priced alternative. And I am not disappointed. I've made several batches now and want to pass along some wisdom.
Keep the burgers on the thin side. They cook better. After you've pressed a batch, use a drinking straw to punch 3 holes in each patty. You can squeeze the excess meat out of the straw so it doesn't get wasted. You can freeze the tray of patties and then remove and snap apart each individual patty. And then store these frozen sliders in a freezer bag or container. It's nice to have a bunch on hand for quick easy snacks... When you grill them up, throw some onions on your pan and then the frozen patty. No need to flip them, as the steam vent holes you created with the straw eliminate the need for flipping. As for the buns, I've tried using hotdog buns cut in half - but they are too small. I've found both of my regular grocery stores stock mini burger buns in the deli department.
I disagree with the reviewer who thought this wouldn't last. While it's not made of a space age bionic polymer, there's no reason this product won't last for years and years with normal use and care.
Works Great September 12, 2009 B. Payne 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The only slider maker I have used that works like white castle.
Poking the holes is a little tedious but they are the perfect size with Martin's potatoe rolls or
Pepperidge Farms small dinner rolls as buns.
Clever & Convenient August 6, 2009 Fable (The Garden State) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found this product very convenient. You just press the ground meat into the plastic container, and use the divider to create 9 sliders. I bought a large package of meat, and froze the other set of sliders for later. Everyone enjoyed the ones I prepared, and the containers cleaned up well in the dishwasher. Also, it does not take up too much storage room, a real plus in my kitchen.
Like the concept, may not last... July 16, 2009 C. Weaver (Franklin, TN USA) Excellent concept and the press portion is fairly well made.
However the plastic storage is very lightweight and seems likely to crack if stressed when frozen.
After freezing the burgers in the tray I suggest moving to zip top bags for storage.
This system is compatible with the full size version. I recommend buying both so you can make and freeze 4 lbs at once. And you can choose between 1/9lb sliders and 1/4lb full size burgers.
Good Product July 5, 2009 Mike D (Mesa, AZ) Excellent idea. Product makes perfect White Castle-style patties. The only negative I see is that the product is made from very thin plastic that I do not believe will be durable over time.
