Perfect storage July 22, 2010 Sarah Taylor (outside Phila) I have two of these. I bought the first one over a year ago for my bathroom storage unit. It holds magazines, makeup, hand towels, vases, etc. I loved the look of it and while the bathroom one doesn't test its strength, the one I bought for additional storage does. I use it to hold folded clothing that didn't fit in my dresser drawers and also to house all my photo albums and magazines. I have a garment rack across from it and the chrome finishes match perfectly. I really love the fact that each shelf can hold so much. Every time I've bought something of slightly less cost, its been tremendously less quality, so I'm sticking with these shelving units for my storage needs. The height is really good, not too short. I stack my clothes on the bottom two shelves and the albums, magazines, etc on the top 2. Its great that one can arrange the heights how they please, it makes measurements a non-issue. Its also reassuring its not made of paperboard or another inferior product that will bow or break over a small span of time. I'm considering buying another one to replace my sagging bookshelf with. So far, these get my vote!
Great shelving, easy to assemble July 14, 2010 Jim B. (SouthCarolina) I bought two units for the shed. I wanted wire shelves so the bugs couldn't hide on the shelves and fall on me when I took something off the shelf. Assembly was a breeze. The only problem I had was that one of the threaded inserts was cross threaded but a bit of brute strength fixed it. They seem like they're strong and sturdy and the price was good too.
Bought Two! May 30, 2010 T.B. (Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased one of these units for a bathroom at work. It was so nice, we decided to buy another!
Good all around usage item...check peripherals April 25, 2010 Donya Kemp (Lynn, MA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very good multi-use item. Had to return the first one, since most of the shelf peripherals (stoppers/separators) were crushed or damaged. They replaced it immediately.
Sturdy shelves good for re-organizing. February 1, 2010 CakeDancer (AL) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had shelves bending and pulling off the wall, because the hanging rod was part of the shelf. I re-organized a closet that is part clothing, and part office storage, using these Whitmore shelf units and garment rack. The closet is now more efficient, looks neat, and I'm not going to have to worry about shelves pulling out of the wall, or just bending.
