If you are tired of shredding the multitude of junk mail from people soliciting contributions, sending credit applications, etc. etc. etc. then buy one of these. It effectively and permanently distorts your name and address on forms so you just stamp the form and toss it in the trash.
I use this all the time.

This is an excellent way to quickly destroy junk mail with your name and address on letters, applications, etc.
It's particularly good for destroying blank checks enclosed with monthly credit card bills. It's a pleasure to black stamp-mutilate these little credit card come-ons!
Highly recommended for the junk mail challenged.

The stamp itself is pretty good ... completely covers name and address without being able to read through. The problem is the ink. I accidentally wiped something I stamped with my arm and it all wiped off. I thought maybe it wasn't dry enough so I went to my recycle bin and pulled something out that I stamped the day before and it wiped off with and paper towel. I tried a few different types of mail and all wiped off.
