Great for carrying in my purse. I would note the inseam of my toddler's pants and length of his foot for buying pants and shoes when he wasn't with me, which was my favorite way to pick him out clothes. Now that he is school age, the sizes are more reliable and I don't need this as much, but I use it for buying household items. Now these are available at Container Store, but they didn't used to be.
