Small, bright, and easy to carry. There are some versions of led lights that attach to a 9 volt battery that cost twice as much, and this one seems just as good. I bought a couple to travel with, and now keep them in drawers as emergency lights for power failure. They take up lots less drawer (or back pack) space than regular flashlights and tap lights.

I bought 3 of these and everyone who saw them wanted one. The 3 LED's put out more light than a standard penlight flashlight and will last longer. Easy to carry in your pocket and you can use those old 9 volt batteries that seem to hang around the house. Only bad thing is that is the switch, it might take you once or twice to get to the middle to turn off the light. One way puts the light on, the middle turns it off and the third puts it in strobe mode. Overall, worth the price.

Dont throw away those so called used smoke detector 9v batteries, they are still good with lots of power left. Use this product . Also great for walking at night for added safety to be seen.Also hook up to a bicycle for night time visibility.
compact long lasting light January 9, 2010

This is the most compact and longest lasting light that I can even imagine. I keep these little guys in my cars, bedside, camping equipment, emergency kit, near the gas and power shut off, everywhere I need a small, compact inexpensive flashlight that will last for 100's of hours on a 9v battery. The 3 led's are bright, but not blinding, and the switch is a little wimpy, but overall the construction is adequate, and this is the only one of these snap on flashlights that has an integral reflector to assist in focusing the beam. They're more than bright enough to see your way around a dark room, but no so bright that it blinds the driver if a passenger is reading or looking at a map. I highly recommend you get several of these and sprinkle them around the house in useful places (top of the basement stairs, junk drawer etc.) they also make great stocking stuffers, and children's flashlights. They're small enough that kids can handle them easily, and cheep enough that if they get lost or broken no one cares.
